Yes, you can commission a piece of original art from me- not a print, but an original, straight-on-the-paper work of art.  Of, if that doesn't suit your fancy, a t-shirt or some other piece of apparel with a design of your choosing on it!  Really, I will do anything!  Have fun with it!

I am a college-age graphic design major, seeking to make some extra money this Summer, while promoting my artwork.  I can draw, paint, collage, stencil t-shirts- anything, really.  For examples of my work, please visit my DeviantArt gallery.

Now, onto the specifics of this whole thing…

DO'S AND DON'T'S

What I will do:
-fanart (anime, manga, video games, television shows- Anything!)  This also includes original fan characters.  I am most familiar with Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist, Mushishi, Kingdom Hearts, and Final Fantasy VII, X, and Advent Children, but I will do anything.
-original artwork- Give me an idea, and I'll make something from it.  Even just a word, a phrase, an image, a song- I can work with it!
-design-y stuff (as far as drawing, painting and stenciling goes- No Photoshop or computer art!)

What I will NOT do:
-Sexual and violent content is okay, but ONLY for those 18+, WITH proof of age.  And I will say if the content your request is not acceptable for me to do (I have limits).  Mild shounen-ai, shoujo-ai or het, and mild violence (some blood, no gore) is fine for under 18.  If you're not sure with your request, just ask.
-Anything based off another person's artwork, unless you have that person's permission (and I need proof of permission). (This rule does not include character artwork, a'la Nomura for Final Fantasy, as long as it is for reference, or manipulated enough from the original artwork, as with a stencil design.)

HOW IT WORKS

1. Browse the pricing guide, decide what you would like to commission.
2. Comment here, or send an e-mail to nicolethestrange [at] comcast [dot] net, with your request.  If you are e-mailing, please include "Commission Info" in the subject line.
3. I will comment back or e-mail you back, finalizing your order, with the final price.
4. Send payment!  Please include your shipping info (address to send final commission(s) to).
5. Once I receive your payment, your request will go in a queue.  Commissions will be done in order of payment received.  If you have a specific deadline, we can work something out. (Please give 3-4 weeks advance notice for deadlines.)
6. I will inform you via e-mail or your DevArt page once your commission is complete.  If you would like to see a photo/scan of it in progress or completed, I can do that.  I want you to have something you are satisfied with.
7. With all of that set, I send out your wonderful arts!
8. If you wish, please comment/e-mail back when you receive your commission (mostly so I can make sure it got to you).  I will NOT accept any work back for re-dos, so please make sure you have exactly what you want BEFORE I send it out.
